Dear friend and fellow Pit bull Lover, My name is Jason Mann. That's me and my ugly mug there in the picture to the right. First of all I want to thank you for visiting PitBull Lovers.com. It is truly a pleasure to share my passion for the breed with you. Many people ask me why I decided to start this web site. My answer is simple. I love the American Pit Bull Terrier. Pit Bulls are outstanding dogs and many people have gotten the wrong impression about them. Media reports, irresponsible owners, and governments quick to pass breed specific legislation have caused many problems with the breed today. My hope is that this web site will touch thousands of people and help educate the general public about the true nature of the American Pit Bull Terrier. Steering them away from the hound of hell image that is so often portrayed in the media. I also started this site because people like you are seeking information. In reality very few sites offer unique, fact based information. 
One of the biggest problems I faced when I first got involved with the breed was finding high quality information that wasn't written by some "dogman."
American Pit Bull Terriers die every single day in shelters around the world not because they are vicious. Rather because they were born. Thrown away. Or some all knowing government decided it was easier to kill them or regulate them than it was to address the real problem. Irresponsible selfish, ignorant, dog owners. Until the rest of the world, meaning everyday citizen's, understand more about the breed and the real cause of the problem we are fighting an uphill battle.
