Pitbull Puppy Care: Getting your American Pit Bull Terrier Puppy started off right

By Jason Mann
There is nothing more adorable than a little pudgy pitbull puppy running around. Let's face it, puppies are flat out adorable.
Puppies also face a lot of problems in the beginning days that can potential kill them or mess them up for life.
The following article shares some tips on getting your puppy or puppies started off right.
Before we begin I have to say, I'm not an expert in canine health and I am not a licensed vet. Always seek out a professional nutrition expert or a qualified vet in regards to your puppies health.
With that said, let's continue.
Puppy Food
Personally I don't put much stock in puppy foods. I started feeding my dog Angel raw food at 3 1/2 months old and other than the odd bowl of high quality kibble she is still on this diet at 4 years old.
Honey, my other dog was raised on puppy kibble and it took months to undo a lot of the damage the low grade super market food did to her. She still suffers from allergies and all sorts of nasties that I believe are a result of her poor diet and other health related issues like bad breeding.
Puppies can thrive on adult foods. They can do even better on a high quality kibble that is specially formulated for a growing puppy.
Note: When I refer to high quality kibble I mean human grade all natural ingredients. Commercial dog foods are not high quality foods.
