Both of these definitions apply to the American Pit Bull Terrier and those who are involved with the breed at every level.

Whether you are an owner of a pet, a breeder, a show competitor, or are heavily involved in the advocacy of the breed, we are all faced with the same dilemma.

The Pit Bull Dilemma can be defined as...

...the difficult choice of how to deal with the multiple problems the breed faces and how to stop the persistent misinformation that accompanies each individual problem.

You Have to Get Started Before You Can Get it Right

As a society we sit on our butts waiting for the perfect answer to arrive before we take action. There is nothing to be ashamed about here, it's almost become part of being a human being.

We sit and we think, we wonder, we tell ourselves that we don't know where to start or how to get involved and this causes us not to take any action at all.

All the while there are people who dive in and get started. Are they perfect? Do they know the answers? Are they in on a big secret you and I missed?

No, They simply went with their gut and started taking ACTION

Right there is the answer to, "how do we stop the dilemma?"

We take action. Whatever action that is, we simply start doing something to help solve the problem.

From Denmark to Belize to Indonesia to Montenegro, this web site reaches out and touches people with an important message.

I'm not bragging, I'm making the point, when I first started I didn't have an inkling of an idea what the site would do, what it would be about, I simply started taking action.

Will The Pit Bull Dilemma End?

I believe, as sure as you are sitting there reading this, that yes, the Pit Bull dilemma will eventually end.

We will answer the difficult questions and we will stop the persistent problems the breed faces.

However, for that to happen, each and every single person that is involved on one level or another with the breed must decide to take action right now.

Without action on your part, my part, the breeders part, the kennel club part, the pet owners part, we will stay in this persistent gauntlet of having to defend ourselves from the rabid media fed public.
