PETA Kills Animals

June 17th, 2005

PETA Kills Animals.

Disturbing news? I think not. If you have been around for
a bit you know that the Ingrid NewKirk wants all Pit Bulls destroyed.

In recent news two PETA members were caught dumping dead animals they had killed in a Piggly Wiggly dumpster. For more information read PETA Kills Animals and It’s a Felony.

Do your part, spread the message and tell others about PETA’s terror tactics. They target children with junk emails while you are not looking.

PETA hands out flyers at schools to six year olds that read, “Your Mommy Kills Animals!” Depeciting a crazed housewife with a butcher knife and blood spatter.

    Hi Jason,
    Where do I start?
First off, I have red-nosed Am-Staff named Brandi
and she is the love of my life. I got her from
a pitty rescue, she was a bait dog that was turned
    over to the rescue.
Now, about this whole peta kills animals.
I feel like I am torn in two, being a member of peta
for the last 5 years I have learned alot of positive
things from being involved in the orginization.
That being said there are alot of things that need to change. Starting with Ingrid’s opinion of pitbulls but on the other hand if you had 100 pitty’s and you knew that 70 of them were going to be fought and likely killed in a fighting ring, Wouldn’t you say it is more “humane” to put them down then have them die a horrible violent death?
Everyone and everything in this world can change for the better I agree but why does no one ever say “Wow peta build 500+ dog houses for dogs that have to stay outside in the winter”. People always take the bad and neglect the good (as proven with pitbulls).
I have been a vegan for 7 years now and I thank peta for giving me the tools to live a cruelty free lifestyle. That being said I think something has to change because ANY animal rights group that supports the killing of ANY animal because of it’s breed, Is very wrong!
Thanks for your site it is awesome.
PS Is there any place you can post pictures of your pitty?

Why does our country spend governmental/military resources hunting terrorists overseas when we have active terrorists like PETA on our home soil? PETA treats the animal rights movement with less dignity than a shelter dog–AND THEY GET AWAY WITH IT. Trust me, I’m the number one advocate for free speech, but isn’t there a law against hostile protesting? I had a local PETA activist chase after my car in a parking lot because I informed him of PETA’s stance on BSL, all because he was trying to shove his values and his $5.00 sticker down my throat.

Somee people have had positive experiences with PETA, and that’s fine. I, however, have not. I think they are mighty hypocritcal for supporting the death of thousands of innocent “dangerous dogs.” Here’s an idea–how about sponsoring training sessions for HUMANS so they can learn to handle said dogs? It’s a lot easier than killing an animal that wants nothing more than to sleep on your couch and go for walks.

I don’t understand people’s logic, How can someone be so kind hearted to their dog and yet have no problem using animals for product testing and food.
PETA has taught me to live a cruelty free lifestyle and yes “SOME” activist don’t know the right way to approach people but I question if you really would have stopped and talked to him while really listening to his perspective??
Sometimes you have to agree to disagree and thankfully freedom of speech is alive and well.
Also I must say it is very hurtful to see people
putting animal rights activist’s in the same
category as people who fly commercial planes into building to kill people, I don’t see the
similarities? Most good A/R/A want to help stop animal suffering, What is bad about that?
PETA and the ALF are two different groups and should remain that way!

  4. Jason Mann

Well I have three things to say.

    1. PETA is full of it and I urge you to pull ALL support away and put it where it could do some use. Like a Pit Friendly rescue or shelter.

    2. PETA does support known terriosts. NOT members but the organization PETA has donated money to both ALF and ELF. Both are identified by the FBI as domestic terrorist organziations.

    3. And to your hypothetical question about Pit Bulls used for dog fighting. Nope. I would NEVER agree to that.

One wrong does not make another wrong right. Killing is KILLING regardless of how “humane” it’s done.

I would much rather see PEOPLE held responsible for their actions. That is just another way to push the deeds of people on to animals that have no say in the matter. Either way, they lose. Yeah, that’s fair.

Eating meat is not cruel, it is natural.

Peata sucks!just because they say a few positive things people get blinded by theyre actual purpose TO DESTROY PIT BULLS AND THE IMAGE WE BUIL UP!Anyone who cant see this needs to just re-think owning a pit bull period.
