pitbulls Why is it so hard for people to understand?

After reading a couple of news stories and seeing a recent poll from a Canadian TV station I was left wondering, “Why is it so hard for people to understand about pitbulls?”
When I hear people talking about how vicious pitbullsI’m left puzzled.
Most of them have never even seen an American Pit Bull Terrier and they are suppose to know how their temperements are?
What a joke.
As I look at the world around us I see a commericalized public. People who are told what to do, what to say, what to wear, where to eat, how fat or how skinny they are, why they should be doing this or that and it drives me mad.
Personally, I think it’s time for Pit Bull owners to stand up and tell the media to stick it.
I would ask every pit bull owner to call your TV station, your local paper, and other media outlets and demand to be heard!
Working together we can bring the breed out of the crisis it’s in. Working together we can make a difference.
But we have to pull together and stop the tyranny.
Take a minute and think about the folks in BSL country.
Muzzles, their dogs put down for no other reason than their breed, restriction after restriction
being placed on them.
Law abiding citizens being persecuted for their freedom of choice.
Disgusting!
Take action today and help us make a difference.

Exactly. I try to spread the word wherever I go. I just posted a Pit Bull movie link on my blog for people to watch….I’m CONSTANTLY pushing people to undertand Pits instead of stereotyping ALL of them.
I completly agree. I have raised pits for 8 years now and they are the most loving of dogs and I couldn’t imagine living without my babies. I am bottle feeding a 3 day old puppy right now. There are people that abuse these dogs, and they DO need to be punished. But what about people like me that love and care for this breed only as a faithful companion?
